Helen Spiers

Helen Spiers is the Head of Counselling at Mable Therapy, a leading online counselling and speech & language service for schools and private referrals. She plays a key role in shaping Mable’s approach to mental health support, overseeing the development of engaging online resources and delivering specialist training on counselling children and young people in a digital setting.

As Mable’s mental health media spokesperson, Helen actively advocates for improved mental health support for children and young people.

With over two decades of experience working with young people, Helen began her career as a primary school teacher, spending over ten years in the classroom before retraining as a children and young people’s counsellor. She has provided counselling in college, primary, and secondary school settings, bringing a wealth of experience and insight to her role at Mable.
